History


Mari wasn't your typical angry Goth who sat at the back of your classroom during Grade School. Surprisingly,
she led a rather happy childhoold,  and even had a loving Mother and Father in  conjucnion with two younger
sibilings.   Sure she was one of the familuar faces in Art Club and Theater Club,   but she was one of the few
"Non Preps" who did other things like Shop and even did a few Seasons of Varsity Soccer. Granted, her team
never one a single game in those 2 years? But the most important part was that everyone had fun, and came
home with fond memories to recall to this day.


The Game changer was when our little Goth had moved out to make a life of her own, moving into the dorms
of her State's less popular University to study for a Biology Degree.   In her third semester, she found herself
struggling to keep the grades going that would have kept her competative. During a night of bar hopping, she
had managed to run into a group of free spirits that seemed to understand everything that was going wrong in
the whole  'happily ever after' gig.   Unlike the rest of  her family back home,   they accepted her for what she
was!   Plus,  her and the other Gals   could play dress   up and share outfits!   It was when she  found herself
dreading finals, did she finally call up her new friends for some emotional support.


On that night, they rescued her from the frustrations of
Human life, by giving her a fresh Unlife to enjoy.




Current Affairs


Eight years have passed since Mari retired from humanity, and well, most of them were spent celebrating the
fruits of immortality.   Sure enough, there   were a lot of   fun times to be had!   There was plenty of traveling
around the planet, complete with 'Tasting' what the   whole World had to offer~ However,   there came a time
when Reality Struck...   Someone had let it slip that there was a coven of Vampires in town,   and well, things
ended up getting real hairy!   Our little Goth girl had   finally experienced   the trauma of seeing   some of her
belovid Kinsmen   fall at the   hands of   Vampire Hunters.   In all honesty?   She was lucky to get out of there
unscathed! To this day... she still has daymares about the whole attack.


Like everything in 'Life.'   Someone could find the silver lining and the black rainbow at the end of the storm.
Through a secret network of Paranormal Entites that have found out how to live with humans, Mari was able
to travel to "Nexis."   Where creatures of all kinds could share the same air as humans with far less endanger-
ment. Sure, here was still the whole concept of "The Strong survive and the Weak get eaten." But,   at the end
of the day, how bad was that for a Vampire?


With some help from "The Network" Mari has managed to go from shared living space with a group of home-
less creatures, to finally landing a small 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom appartment. Without a high end busness focus
in this part of town? There wasn't an over abundance of jobs that required a college degree, so, thankfully she
was able to hop around from job to job to see what worked best for a night walker! For now? Our happy blood
sucking goth was giving a go at being a waitress and newbie bartender for for this new place called Jubilee's!

Abilities


As a brand spank'en baby Vampire, Mari has all of these skills.   However, she may not know how to initiate
or maintain the skill for very long since she is still learning. And, at the end of the Night?   She isn't that cold
hearted. She still cares about mortals for the most part.

Serpent’s Tongue: Armed with an inhumanly abundant sense of charm, grace, silver tongue and pheromones
she rarely finds it difficult to tempt someone to draw closer. Some might mistake it for flirting, but why wou-
ldn’t the spider tempt a fly?

Hypnotic Gaze:   If given the opportunity to lock eyes with   any non-immortal guests,   she might be able to
hypnotize them, thus enabling him to control a person to meet her whims. This also enables a vampire to get
within the mental   space of their prey.   One day, she'll  be able to create   illusions or control   nightmares or
provide their most delightful dreams~

Aphrodisiac Saliva: Should a guest be subjected to Mari’s saliva (either by a bite, licking, or lip locking) the
subject will eventually find their mind swimming with budding lust. The more exposure, the greater the inten-
sity.   A vampire’s saliva has been known to become addictive, and temps mortals to become willing, reoccur-
ring meals.

Supernatural Strength:   Enable’s a vampire to defend   themselves should the need arise,   or to subject a
meal to learn of its proper place in this world.

Death’s Embrace: Mari will likely never resort to this,   nor has she learned About it yet,   but if she were to
drink every drop of a person’s blood before breathing in their final breath to consume their soul. This creates
a white marble statue that she will either   keep or choose to destroy.   Depending on her mood.   This can be
done to both mortals and immortals.

The Kiss of Immorality: It isn’t likely, but if Mari comes to discover some measure of companionship with a
human, she would be able   to bring them into the word of darkness…  to join her for eternity.   This requires
draining the transitioner, and then drinking her blood. This will create a Sire bond between the two, leaving the
new fledgling to be obedient with their creator.   It takes tremendous effort to break free of the bond with your
sire.   ((I reserve the right to create a long-term Sire Bond or Not.))
