Slimes, for the most part, aren't exactly the most "well-off" of creatures in the universe, are they? Most of the time, the species is subject to being an entry-level enemy in video games, or some sort of succubus that feeds off of other's lust to survive. For Mercury though, she takes things a little differently. The last of her kind, Mercury resides in a hole in the ground in the Vasyugan Swamp in Siberia; surprisingly, carrying out her days in relative peace . Due to the semi-remote nature of her location, humans, humanoids, animals, and whatever else typically don't end up stumbling upon her or her den. A good thing that they don't, too - being the last of her kind and all, interactions with strangers don't typically end up going well for her, from her experience. It certainly doesn't help that the "signature quirk" of her species would only make the encounter potentially dangerous for herself. The other members of her species are gone for a reason, after all.

Weighing in at about 53.6kg in weight and 169.2 cm in height, it's currently unknown whether or not Mercury is above or below the average weight and height for her species. That combined with her nature as a slime, her weight and height can change depending on how Mercury "forms" her body in a given moment. However, with such things taking an exuberant amount of energy, Mercury would need a high amount of her main source of life, water, to do complete such a task; depending on the form.

...And meat. She'd need a minimum amount of meat, along with her supply of water, to accomplish changing into another form temporarily; meat is important too, even if Mercury doesn't need too much of it to survive.

Personality-wise, - as one could already assume - Mercury is a relaxed, mostly uncaring endling. To her, only a few things matter in life: having a nice place to call her own, a good supply of rain and snow, and not being tasted or licked by annoying passerby. If all of that is in check, she's a happy -even if a little bored - slime.

...Eh? What's that, you ask? What's the "Signature Quirk" that doomed her species, and led the slime to the life she lives now?

"heh, just because I taste like the best gelatin you've ever had doesn't mean it's okay to lick me, ya know-"
