Miryoku started life as a human, growing up as the daughter of a wealthy merchant. From a young age she was told the value of money and developed something of a desire for more money than she knew what to do with. Her rich background gave her the finest education money could buy, teaching her how to conduct herself among others. Combined with her merchant heritage, Miryoku developed quite the silver tongue, able to charm others just from talking. Though her beauty also has a large part in it.

Her desire for money and her lack of interest in subtly cheating people out of it as a merchant led her to a change of career. Leaving her home with a large amount of her family's wealth, she decided to take up a career as a thief simply because stealing peoples money directly was much more thrilling. She easily developed quite the skill in thievery and with her charming and seductive personality, stole quite a few peoples hearts at the same time.

However her life suddenly changed when she decided to steal the booty of Captain Yokobou. After sneaking aboard her ship, she was captured by the equally charming girl and brought to her cabin where she was unbirthed and turned into a Mithra. While Miryoku was shocked at first, she was swiftly seduced by the pirate captain and accepted her new life as the pirates daughter.
