In this vast and mysterious world of ours exist many myths are legends told by many of the inhabitants of this world. Some are plausible and some are quite hard to believe but they all have one thing in common: All are quite amazing and amusing to hear or read about. One such legend told thoughout the many corners of the world is the legend about the creation of the floating continent,Cirius. Far, far to the east, existed a land wracked by chaos and evil. Descending from the heavens were the goddesses, Aki and Aya, the goddesses of creation. The two were unable to tolerate the state of the land below so, they decided to do something about it.
The goddesses blessed the land, cleansing it of evil and wickedness and to prevent evil beings from reverting it back to the way it was before, lifted the area of land off the ground and high into the sky. With their work done, Iha and Aya departed, leaving behind a couple of statues of themselves, each holding an orb in thier hands. The orbs which where red and blue respectively, contained power that rivaled that of the goddesses that created the floating continent and in order to maintain peace and stability on the continent, the statues faced away from each other, the statues exuded a blessed aura. It was as if the goddesses themselves had blessed it.
The people of the country saw how important those statues were and enshrined them with care. The shrine lies at the heart of the capital of Cirius: Stratus Point. Cirius was a land above the clouds, a peaceful place that consists of several floating islands, forests that contained a unique ecosystem that was exclusive to that county, fertile soil that allowed for the inhabitants that lived there to grow crops with ease and since food was so plentiful up there, it was for free! But the only things the inhabitants had to pay for was the rare items that were found by the inhabitants that ventured down to the surface to search for rare items or to obtain goods from the towns and citites down there.
The technology on the continent was slightly more advanced than tech found anywhere else, the reason behind this being, the inhabitants enjoyed creating useful inventions for those on the surface and those in the other cities of the sky to enjoy and to make life easier.
Nimbi Nihi and her best friend, Machi Mahawas born and raised in the capitol city of Stratus Point, located on the central island on the continent.
Nimbi was alsways lazy and sleepy, but also sometimes hyper once excited. She made some friends but barely do stuff with them so she quickly lost them until that one day she was slepping under an Apple three until someting stumbled onto her, the cute
Machi_ . Of course Nimbi was upset and annoyed and just was about to attack the Kitty as she hear her apologizes from the nervous Cat girl and all was forgiven.
She noticed the cat being kinda shy and wich Nimbi found cute of course and after some time she grew affection to the Kitty and followed her out of the forest she spend so much time in. They played and spend alot of time together and quickly became best friends! Things were reletively peaceful on the floating continent but it wouldn't stay this way for long.
A certain group was interested in the advanced technology of the floating continent and had planned to take it all and any of the inventions and blueprints. With that tech they could carry out thier future schemes with relative ease. This group was known as the Sky Raiders and their leader, Slate was a cold, egomanical man who had his own scheme planned out, one that even his men didn't know about.
Hell, half of them didn't even know what they were doing half the time! Slate had researched the legend on the creation of Cirius and what he found out was very interesting, he learned that a couple of goddesses had created the very continent and that they had left behind a couple of statues, those that contained power rivaling those of the creation goddesses and he aspired to obtain that power for himself and afterwards, he planned to create an empire for himself, one in which he could rule over the world with an iron fist and strike down those who dared to opose him. Of course, his men wouldn't be a part of his empire, to him, his men were nothing but pawns in ensuring that his plan succeeded.
The raiders next target was Stratus Point and unfortunately for the inhabitants there, they were rather peaceful and didn't really fight. Good for the Sky Raiders and bad for the residents who would be taken by complete surprise by thier cordinated attack, one group began to pillage the city of the many advanced inventions and blueprints to create them. The other went towards the shrine which was under protection by the city's guards. The guards fought valiantly but their efforts were for naught as they were defeated and tossed aside, allowing for Slate and his group to enter into the shrine were the two statues sat.
Machi and Nimbi were at her house, cowering as the Sky Raiders invaded the city. Though, Machi was scared, she decided to do something to protect the city that she lived in, wich Nimbi found very proud of her best friend. Like a hero in the shadows, she made her way into the shrine with a nervous Nimbi tailing behind her. Within the shrine were the statues of the goddesses of creation, the two witnessed Slate moved the statues so they faced each other, their power was now open for him to take it and all he needed to do now was step in between them: And that's what he did. Unable to let Slate get away with his plan, Machi broke into a sprint towards the statues, pushing one towards Slate and pinning him against the one behind him, trapping him.
It seemed as all was over but what Machi and Nimbi didn't know was that moving the statues out of the position that they were in currently would cause something of catastrophic proportions to happen.... As Slate began to push the statue in front of him away, he'd be paralyzed suddenly by a pulse of energy from the statue of Aya. Seems as if Machi had inadvertedly caused the magic that protected the continent to go out of control from those statues being moved out of position and as a result, went out of control and began to reshape the very continent, destroying many of the citiies and settlements. Needless to say that the continent looked radically different that day.
Nimbi had lost her best friend and her parents at this, not able to find her again and not wanting to help in the city building a house etc, she lived in the forest for the time, fighting for her live, but also having a very easy live. She lived near a lil stream with a self made cabin and a lil fireplace to keep it warm at night or at cold days. She ate mostly fruits but also someday sneaked into towns to get some meat or other stuff to make life easier, she simply didnt like to hunt at all, and kinda couldnt so good. But then on one sunny day she was sleeping in the shadows of her cabing she got woken up by her old friend
Machi_. Of course the Dog girl jumped at her and cuddled her to the doom to finially be together with her again!
The two soon decided to go down, to the solid earth to explore a bit and make a house in case things like up there wont ever happen again (and they ll have a house for emergency) so they Build a modest Cabin on a big nice clearing in the Nexus forest. But Machi often goes out to explore some sky lands with the airships that bring you up and down while Nimbi often stays home or goes around the house to laze around, but dont expect her to have boring stuff, she can play very well video games and much strangers come by too from time to time.
Personality:
Nimbi is quiet...quiet after all she tents to lay or sit around and sleep or laze a bit while watching tv, hearing music or playing some games. Shes at all easy to annoy but also calm, depending on the situation (she wont get too annoyed with a child for example). If you manage to annoy her, prepare to be bit, punched or hunted out of her range. Nimbi is quiet strong even if she doesnt look like that. Nimbi also doesnt like to show her real feelings, only Machi knows how she really feels and that not even everytime, but if she knows you enough she might open up a bit and...no probably not i dont know her enough to know that im just the profile writer ^^.
Best is to just aproach her and meet her, she reacts differently to things and might even like you, just remember, she might look like an easy target...but thats not so easy like you think.
