Orel is a witch who lives in the same forest as Ruya, and is known for her specialty in making potions. How she makes these potions are a trade secret, but the denizens of the forest are wary of her as many members of various tribes within the forest have been going missing, with her seemingly at the center of it.
Her personality is a mix between indifferent and condescending. She is quite confident in her magic ability, and isn't afraid to demonstrate her aptitude. She is knowledgable, but tends to make mistakes on the simple things while she is quite good at the more complex parts of magical study. In this way, she is honored by mages below her skill level, but mages above her skill level despise her for what they see as misuse of magic. This doesn't really matter to her, though, because she spends most of her time alone in the woods trying to make a profit off her sketchy potion business.
She wears a brown cloak that covers her entire upper body and down to her ankles, and her hair is about the same length as it is cut at around her waist. She only uses a single book and staff to fight, the book which she wrote herself many years ago, and is filled with little notes of corrections or annotations. She also has a row of three birdcages tied around her midsection, where she can keep captured individuals. The keys to these cages are attached to an earring hanging from her right ear, which she is very defensive of.

Ruya_Yumi 's clan.
Emaki is also trying to shut down her illegal activity through the worshippers at her shrine.
Orel is a character designed to be a pred with a teasing or condescending attitude. Her potions are often made through absorbing the magical energy of living things. After their magical energy has been absorbed, Orel eats the subject to cover her own tracks (and perhaps make a profit on any potential remains). In this way, she is somewhat cruel, but sees it as nothing more than business.
