"Aren't you awfully....small, for a superhero?"

"Hey! Just because I'm not jiggling all over the place..."

"Uh...I meant your height."

Powergal is a superhero. Really, she is! She can fly! She's also completely and utterly invincible. From a thug's switchblade to the heart of a collapsing sun, not a single thing she's ever been hit with has even left a scratch. Bullets flatten against her, death rays tingle, acid might as well be a warm bath. Sounds great, right? Well, there are a couple downsides.

The biggest one is that flight and invulnerability are her only powers. She's not superstrong (although she packs a mean wallop when she runs into someone at speed), doesn't have eye-rays, can't move things with her mind. Though not entirely useless, she has to work really hard to get the results her peers seem to accomplish with the bat of an eye or flick of their wrist! She can't even fall back on being a sexy temptress/distraction. Despite being twenty and a full adult, she's just....well, scrawny.

Standing only a couple inches above five feet, she's so flat and skinny, some of her adversaries have mistaken her for a boy in a skirt. It's hard to intimidate anyone when the first word to mind when people look at you is "cute." Yet that's what she is. With short black hair and wide hazel eyes, she looks more like someone a villainous goon would just pat on the head and shove out of the way, than cower in fear of. Her costume is more durable than it looks, designed by her and made by a superscience genius friend. It consists of a short red skirt, a white top that looks a little like a turtleneck with her emblem on the chest, red gloves and a short red cape. Thanks to Ashley_Urikoshima, she wears a pair of running shoes in pristine condition, almost entirely white besides the deep red of the laces, along with emblems on the outer sides of each bearing Powergal's chest emblem in red and gold. Her secret identity, and life when she's not trying to be a hero? Well, that's a secret. She has to tell you! Though the likes of Wyked would kill to find out...

She isn't capable of eating people, and probably wouldn't anyway, what with being a superheroine! She's completely indigestible...yet she tastes scrumptious. The only thing she seems to have any real weakness against is magic. Sometimes it effects her, sometimes it doesn't. Devices that aren't necessarily harmful in nature, like shrink rays, also occasionally get through. She doesn't technically need to breathe, so suffocating her won't get you anywhere. In flight, she's capable of breaking the sound barrier, making her most formidable when not touching the ground.
