Wyked

"...and they'll call me....they'll call me wicked....and if they won't respect me, then they'll all learn to fear me!"

For every hero, a nemesis. Isn't that how it goes? Well this is one of Powergal's main rivals. The heartless, power-hungry menace known as Wyked. Much like the other woman, she stumbled into her powers by one of those freak one-in-a-million accidents that seem to happen nine times out of ten in a world that's fated to contain superheroes. The details don't matter so much as the result. An egomaniac who demands absolute power and wealth for herself, and is willing to do most anything to get it!

What makes her so dangerous, of course, are those superhuman abilities. While not as durable as the heroine (What is, really?), Wyked has much more in the way of offensive capabilities. She can fly, like the heroine, but she has the enhanced strength the other lacks, enough to heave a car without much trouble. This does make her more resistant to physical harm, just nothing like the total invulnerability of some. The things that make her truly dangerous, however, are her energy projection and what she has to do to fuel it! She can fire blasts of coherent (and as yet unidentified) energy from her hands in the form of beams of red light, doing impact and heat damage ranging from about the strength of a hard punch up to the point of explosively vaporizing metal and stone. She modulates the strength of the attacks with her own will.

So where does all that energy come from? People! Technically she could eat just about any living thing to fuel her energy blasts, but she's an evil bitch, and by far prefers to down tasty, struggling meals in the form of other people. She's tried to devour Powergal on a number of occasions, though her stomach has yet to overcome the smaller woman's invulnerability to harm, forcing her to eventually cough up or crap out the heroine....it should be noted that the way her body processes food now, she's free of intestinal waste. This doesn't make things any more fun or less humiliating for the invincible hero, though!

Wyked is five-foot-eight, with hair that seems to vary between black and midnight blue depending on how the light hits it, and light hazel eyes. Her outfit is shamelessly flesh-baring, although this is partially a practical concern for her. Calf high boots and elbow length gloves protect her hands and feet, while a small top holds up her stylized cape, showing gratuitous underboob and exposing her toned midriff entirely. Her shorts are basically tight hotpants, the whole ensemble colored in red and black with a few gold ornamentations. So what's practical about it? When she swallows someone, her belly swells! Not as much as might be expected, but enough that she prefers to have it bare.
