You've heard the stories before, people with extraordinary genetic mutations gifting them incredible powers, Mutants. These people live among us in our everyday lives, our friends, family, co workers and political leaders. They like us live normal mundane lives...when they can, shunned by most of the world some mutants have to hide their abilities and even sometimes their pressence, others use their power for selfish gain of vigilante justice, as of recent Raven has decided on a new path, one in a world that can accept her.

After the Trask incident she decided to take her destiny into her own hands, discovering ancient practices and archaic magics that would lead her into a new world, one where she didn't have to hide her face. She found what she was looking for, opening a portal to some alternate reality, she looked back, remembering Charles and Erik, then she stepped through the threshold into a new world...Nexus.

Here she was not shunned or hated, she wasn't out of place or a freak, here she was herself, this wondrous world of many different beings wandering together, it seemed like paradise and for a while it was, then Mystique felt hungry, an insatiable hunger, her eyes went dark and she blacked out.

Upon awakening she would scream, her blue, spiny belly was bulging out with the form of a person. She tried to calm down, slowly managing, understanding, questioning, musing, enjoying, she loved this, a feeling that she had never felt before, it felt so right having something become a part of her, she had a taste for it now, beware when Mystique is hungry, for she can appear as anyone or anything as she prepares to strike.
