Where does she come from? Well, if you ask her, she'll tell you that she was sent out on a quest to obtain a magical artifact vital for her tribe's survival!

...Or maybe she'll say she was exiled for eating a diplomat's bratty daughter, doing what everyone wanted to but no one had the guts to do, so to speak!

...Or perhaps she'll tell you that she simply decided to leave home and see the world and gather riches for herself.


As you can tell, you shouldn't take everything the pike-bodied mermaid has to say at face value. She lies as easily as she breathes, in air or water, and she does it just to get a kick out of people at times. She cares about little save herself, and her own desires...which usually means a full purse and a fuller belly!

Does she eat people? You bet! Not even her "comrades" are safe - any alliances she might make are strictly temporary. Her favourite way of getting someone into her belly is to challenge them to a game of chance! Beware, though - she's certainly not above cheating, even with friends if they look particularly tasty!

One thing that is certain is that she stole a magical device that allows merfolk to "swim" in the air a few feet above the ground. Sound familiar? It's the same device that Migiri and Otoro have, only acquired through slightly less legitmate means!
