Sarah_the_Naga

Sarah goes by many names, but she is most famously known in her own world as "The Goddess of Nagas". She is a naga who has the ability to transform, however in her basest form she is around twenty feet long, weighing in at about 300 pounds. In addition to regular transformations, which will be explained later, she also has a titan form, which allows her to grow to gargantuan heights, easily towering above skyscrapers and dwarfing monsters such as godzilla. This is not one of her godly powers, but rather something unique to her family. Nonetheless, she prefers not to use it: as a Goddess, she finds life is boring enough already. Eliminating all the challenge to herself by abusing her powers was a waste in her eyes.

She was born as a normal naga to an overly violent mother, and only had three sisters throughout her growing up, one of which she bonded well with; her halfnaga sister, Amber_Faye. She bonded well with her sister due to an innate sense of justice in her; she had always hated the way the genetic defect was treated by their mother, and always stood up for her...earning her a special bit of her mother's ire, herself.

As time went by, the abuse got worse and worse, requiring Sarah and Amber to take greater measures to defend themselves against their mother. The day had finally come when she snapped, forcing her other siblings, Andrew and Logan, to flee the homestead. However, Amber and Sarah were not so lucky, both being bound and trapped within their own home. Eventually they had broken free of their binds, something that their mother expected it seemed, for she waited to consume them both.

After a long, grueling battle with her mother, she defeated her and consumed her. For the moment they both seemed to be safe, however Sarah noticed that she had been feeling different ever since. After visiting with a shaman, she learned that her soul was broken, as was Amber's, but never told her sister of this fact. In killing her mother, she had broken several naga traditions, and it had taken a huge toll on her soul.

To remedy this, she started looking into the schools of astral magick, but no matter where she looked, no matter what she had read, she could not find any answer. At long last she returned to the shaman who had diagnosed her pains. She had been given bad news about her predicament: no power save for that of a God's would be capable of restoring her soul and ending her constant torment.

She looked upon Amber's slowly decaying form, knowing that she was dying due to her soul's injury. By now her older sister had to have known of her own plight, but Sarah's big body allowed her to hide this fact better. She decided to herself, if becoming a God is what it would take to save her sister, then becoming a God is what she would do.

The journey to becoming a God was not a small or easy one. It was filled with many arduous trials and pains that the naga had to brave for her sister, however she had finally built her cunning and strength enough to take on the weakest God she could find: the God of Donuts.

So it was that she had defeated the God of Donuts, and taken over his dominion. She was brimming with newfound powers: the powers of a God! The ability to crush nations, to topple governments! To destroy and create whole worlds! However, as she analyzed her new strength, she realized that being the Goddess of Donuts was not the power she sought; not the power to protect herself and her sister.

So she continued her training, eventually becoming too powerful for the title "Goddess of Donuts". However, there were no other open seats on Olympus, so she crafted a devious plan. She went around her world, getting all the nagas to praise her glories: her successes were written in Legend, and soon Olympus had a new spot just for her.

Sarah was now the first and only Goddess of the Nagas, and now much more powerful than before. As to who became the new God of Donuts? Well...it was better that she never knew, but Sarah had made her little sister the Goddess of Donuts, in an effort to protect their decaying souls with the power of the Gods.

Despite all of her efforts, however, her soul is incomplete. Most of her power is directed to keeping herself from her own pain, and the rest is delegated to protecting her sister from any harm. In her training as a Goddess, she learned two things most prominently; using her powers as a Goddess to attain meals was a pointless and funless exercise, and using them for things that weren't of a higher problem involving Gods themselves was a waste of potential, and only hurt her.

Due to this, even in situations her mortal form is threatened, she does not use many of her Godly abilities to face off against foes, nor does she use them against her prey. They exist, in her mind, solely to keep her soul, her sister, and her world, intact.

One power that Sarah does use is her ability to shift her shape in order to maintain a disguise she won't be attacked in. One thing she learned from mortals about being a Goddess was that people often had mixed reactions to seeing a walking deity...to that end she has different forms for different times.

With Sarah, I prefer being the predator. Being a Goddess she can be in any time and place, so setting is variable based on what you wish it to be. However if you wish me to be a prey, I have her set up so that she can reform; I would prefer to be a different character when being prey, however.

I wish to roleplay with people who are literate and enjoy telling a story. Mostly, people who can have fun, and if they are not having fun, let me know why they aren't so we can try to get the rp to a place we both (or everyone, group size pending) are having fun.
