Having lost her parents to an unknown pathogen while she was still a young girl, she left her farm, which she didn't know how to maintain, for the nearest city: St. Petersburg. There, she kept herself barely alive through begging, stealing, and taking shelter in dumpsters. It wasn't quite living, but it was surviving, and that's all she cared about. As she passed into puberty, she was able to keep her virtue intact and away from those who would take it by force by acquiring her ferocious tattoo, which earned her nickname of Tigritsa, "Tigress", especially when she backed it up with tooth, fist, and foot. The first person she ever killed was a man foolish enough to ignore her reputation, and ended up with thumbs through his eye sockets and bruises around his throat.

Her story might have ended at 16 years old when she found herself the sole witness of Farkas_J_MacTavish's contracted killing of a politician with the wrong enemy. However, she was able to keep her life, and obtain gainful employment, by impressing him with enough raw fighting skill to keep him at bay for a solid minute, emaciated and half his size though she was.

Sonia is capable of shifting between a fully human form, and the form of a lamia, with ruby-red upper and fiery orange belly scales.

Her vampiric power can be tapped into by certain percentages, each additional percent of use increasing her physical capabilities, the base level being the equivalent of being under the influence of an adrenaline rush, by a percentage equal to the corresponding number on the Fibonacci sequence. Theoretically, at 100%, she would be able to output enough force to shater the earth by flicking it, but she would also be obliderated in the process; the same goes for much lower levels, so tapping into even 10% of the power is extremely rare.

Sonia also has an interesting birth defect: something went fucky with the genetic coding that regulates sensation, such that she misinterprets pain as pleasure.

Notes on lamiaic form anatomy: genital slit/vent remains in same spot as vagina; anus moves to the underside of the tail, and toward the tip, in the same spot as a true snake's cloaca.
