Standing over twenty feet (6.07 meters) tall and weighing over 4 tonnes (4000kg), this elemental was something to behold. Its body gave off its own form of light through a fungus it generated in its core and across its spined back, which caused its maw and eyes to light up with an eerie purplish glow as it seemed to stare into its victims' souls. Its body, comprised of frighteningly strong vines of ironwood and rigid ivys, was more than capable of lifting over twenty times its own weight (80 tonnes, or 80000kgs) with ease. It persued the flesh and blood of the world much the same way they persued eachother, as a predator; its overmind driving to consume. Its body, being made of many thousands of hiveminded plants all linked by the overmind was more than capable of sending out hundreds of grasping and entangling vines to ensnare its prey; and it could cause the plantlife around it to grow exponentially with its presence. This power included the ability to bring life back into 'harvested' woods, such as treated timbers and domesticated or preserved plant specimens it may come across. It absorbed it nutrients directly from the tissues of the prey it catches, for once it has incorporated their bodies into its own; there was no escape from the fate of rapid decay and fertilization of its body. Be wary should you encounter this creature; for few have managed to escape its grasp once it descends upon its victim.
It was an ambush predator, preferring to appear from the 'woodwork' around the intended victim rather than engaging in any sort of lengthy chase, as its energy was directly related to its exposure to the sunlight and gathered nutrients. It is also capable of 'planting' itself overnight, extracting enough nutrients to stay alive from the very ground. It is capable of capturing prey through a manner of assorted fluids excreted from its vines, some of which were capable of being launched from pressurized orifices it could move about its body. Some of these fluids could numb the skin, or even paralyze a victim should they get too much of it on their bare flesh. It emits an assortment of sweet smells designed to attract insects and other prey to it, which aided in its hunt should feel the roaming need. It has been known to emit wide variety of spore clouds that have all sorts of interesting effects on the mind should they become inhaled by an intended victim. Mostly, though; it preferred to ensnare its prey with its many vines like so many tentacles, and pull them into itself while performing actions upon the prey to render it more docile and therefore easier to ingest.
