TL;DR Synopsis
A celestial dragon known as an Endwyrm, though she is the first and progenitor of her kind. There are currently two known in existence—and the latter isn't even aware of what he is.

These beasts known as Endwyrms are an incredibly rare species of dragon, as they are not of this world or universe. Instead, they are elder wyrms that have long since lived beyond their years, shed their scales and transcended to the very expanse where they inhabits the coldest, most desolate depths of the space.

And whilst being alone for millions of millenia may imply a life of both peace and quiet, that is far from the truth. The depths of space are home to horrendous and voracious monsters. Monsters that would tear her limb from limb, should she find herself locked in their jaws. And one of them has been relentlessly pursuing her for thousands of years. There is not a moment that she can hope to spare naught but a second of reprieve. However, in a last ditch effort for both a way to disorent her predator and a mere modicum of repose, Kimiko split her own heart—where she cast the shards upon on the endless currents that had once been her refuge so very long ago...

One such heart shard fell to Etheirys and it has remained there ever since.

This shard took upon the guise of a twin-tailed female Miqo'te and attempted to blend into society. While it was incredibly distance and a bit cold, she has gradually warmed up to humanity as a whole. And this gradual acclimation is due to the traveling companion, a young viera who has been introducing her to new sights, people and even concepts.
