Taran is a voracious chubby (and squishy!) dragon, having eaten plenty of people from the mushroom kingdom, including the Mario brothers, and even Bowser! Of course, that means nothing in Nexus... But his appetite is still a factor...
He rarely ever takes off his shoes, so when he does, the smell is... ripe.
His wings, though too tiny to take flight with, can help him jump extremely high, but he has to "rev them up" first, as it were, for maximum height.
