War, also known as the Red Horseman, is the personification of the concept of conflict in the universe. She is a Horseman of the apocalypse, along with her siblings (listed above). Of her siblings, she is the youngest-- as much as she hates this fact being pointed out.

War was ready-- more than ready-- to start her part of the apocalypse. She'd lay dormant for thousands upon thousands of years, but when she finally was summoned, it was... improperly. In order to properly summon each horseman, one must perform a very specific ritual depending on the individual horseman, and whoever-- whatever-- summoned her did not perform the ritual as it was intended, so War was left... different than intended.

For one, she normally is able to choose her assumed form and, while she never uses her true form to appear before humans, she typically takes the form of a male. Being forced into the guise of a female was... Different. And then, War found that she was unable to change her body. No shape-shifting. No leaving the small confines of the meager frame. She was trapped, which meant she wasn't as able to spread her influence. Already, the horseman was angry with how things were going. Little did she know, it would be worse...

Come to find, with the lack of proper sacrifices with her summoning, War is constantly too fatigued to utilise much of her power... Or so she's theorised. Really, she doesn't know why she or the other horsemen have had so many problems with their summoning, but she needed to come up with SOME theory. Her ability to spread her influence and to spread conflict is practically at zero, and with a sort of "back up" of all of that energy, she's very volatile... But also much too tired to properly expend the excess.
