This character is a fanchar by Girlcollection based on the 'Grisaia' visual novels, an adult VN series mainly taking place in a school in a small, fictional Japanese city (all rights reserved by Frontwing). However, this char is not an exact copy, but rather one that got inspired by their Grisaia counterpart, a tribute to it so to say. The personality, behavior and appearance will match, but Mihama Academy and the chars inhabiting it are located in Nexus, having been created there. In particular, the history (and due to that, the trauma and resulting mental problems) will not be shared between the Grisaia characters and the Nexus ones made by me. Regardless, some bits and pieces will be mentioned to properly explain and present the character. Naturally, that will mean there will be some SPOILERS!. Proceed with caution, have a nice time and hopefully enjoyable roleplays!

Yumiko Sakaki was the first child of a wealthy and influental Japanese business magnate - the CEO of the (fictional) East Beach Railway Express Group, Michiaki. Her mother Misako came from a family of small-scale entrepreneurs. Well, technically, this instance of Yumiko is a being created in the Nexus by a powerful deity, shaped and molded in reference to the Yumiko in the Grisaia series. She has the same personality and appearance, but didn't experience the same history, although she has a hazy memory of the events her 'template' went through - but regardless, the history of Grisaia Yumiko will be presented as reference.

Although born into a rich family, Yumiko never had a happy childhood. Her father was a cold-hearted, calculating, unempathic workaholic who didn't spent much time at home, let alone interacting with his daughter. The man regarded his offspring as nothing more than an asset, and furthermore, a girl was not a (traditionally) suitable heir, so her 'use' for him was limited. The company had been handed down three generations, and although not directly the owner of it (Michiaki was still a 10% shareholder, effectively making him a billionaire), he intended to keep the business in the family. Meanwhile, her mother was a quiet, introverted person, who seemed to have poor health. Being married to such a ruthless, cold husband worsened her condition to the point where she barely gave Yumiko answers anymore. After a while, she and Yumiko were forced out of the household, leaving the large but empty-feeling mansion behind, returning to Misako's parents. Yumiko's grandfather and grandmother were not exactly happy, to say the least.

They always laid a big focus on money, and previously, they thought they had won the lottery when their child married a wealthy businessman. But now, she returned in shame, was hospitalized, and their useless grandchild strained their meagre cash income even more. Michiaki's corporation stopped financial support of Yumiko's grandparents, whose sole goal became trying to make Misako recover, so that she could return to her husband, saving the small business of her parents. Yumiko's grandmother and grandfather let her know their repulsion and aversion at every possible moment, although never speaking about it directly. Antisocial and treated like an outcast, Yumiko failed to make any friends in school, increasing her loneliness - she did get good grades though, as she was smart and did not want to cause even more trouble. At some point, she stopped caring about it all, starting to draw pictures to take her mind off from her void-like life. During one visit to the hospital, her mother let the words "if only you had been a boy" slip. Devastated but unable to change her own birth, Yumiko fled and ran around aimlessly in the city, until she came across an abandoned factory where she found an old box-cutter. Taking it, she impulsively sliced off her long hair. Although her grandparents scolded her harshly - they wanted to protect their image in the small, rural town they lived in - Yumiko began carrying the box cutter with her from that day onwards, feeling as if she could slice away the things she did not need in her life anymore by using it.

Meanwhile, her mother was actually showing signs of recovery, even apologizing to Yumiko and talking to her at length. Maybe everything would take a turn for the better? But fate was not kind to them. A tabloid published an article stating that Michiaki had an illegitimate son with another woman (which actually was correct), and that he planned to file for divorce and adopt his son to appoint him as heir (which was pure speculation). By chance, Misako read the article, and suffered a mental breakdown - her condition was to bad that essentially, she entered a persistent vegetative state. Yumiko was shaken, but she did not collapse - the girl was used to a cruel, lonely life. With depression-like symptoms, she apathically continued to live on, not caring about the future or what would happen to her. That her grandparents eyed her with scorn and dismay barely even bothered her anymore. Some years later, out of the blue, Yumiko's father reached out to her. Glad to have one less mouth to feed, and hoping to receive support once more, the grandparents eagerly agreed for the girl to be taken in at Michiaki's home again.

It took quite a while, but eventually, Yumiko began to open up to her father, who seeemed to honestly have undergone a change of heart and tried to make up for the past. But the girl's budding hope was betrayed and shattered again. One day, as she got home from school, she overheard the conversations of some servants who did not realize Yumiko was back already. They talked about how masterfully Michiaki had employed the strategy to get close to his daughter again, but after all, some renown psychologists had worked it out. And then they chuckled that all that effort might be wasted - instead of befriending Yumiko and slowly forming her into a worthy successor, he might just try again for another child after his last son had died (the illegitimate one). Understanding that her father had only acted kind because his other child had died and he needed Yumiko as heir in the future, not because of genuine feelings, Yumiko swore to herself to never fully trust anyone again. For a short while, she kept up the facade, until she heard some girls in school gossiping about her family and wondering what juicy details they could hear from Yumiko. The gal snapped, taking out her box cutter and slashing it across the arm of one of her classmates, narrowly missing an artery. Thanks to Michiaki's influence, this was resolved without juristical charges, but it was obvious Yumiko could not go to a normal school anymore. Using the vast resources of his company, he founded Mihama Academy, a special and sheltered place where problematic cases could be dealt with - Yumiko described it as her 'birdcage'.

Although she reacted dismissive or even hostile when other students enrolled and entered her zone of privacy, seeing them as intruders, in the end, Yumiko arranged herself with her new life, going to class together and residing in the same dorm as several other teenagers with difficult pasts. And even if she was still reserved and tried to stay out of the way, in the end, she was grateful that, for the first time in her life, she had some people that were similar to friends.

That was the story of 'Grisaia' Yumiko - but this character is about 'Nexus' Yumiko, created by Zamael_GC. Although not exactly an extrovert, Yumiko is far less antisocial here - she still is a bit reserved and withdrawn, but to a smaller extent. Yumiko is not indifferent about the future or apathetic about what happens to her anymore. Like the rest, Yumiko gained vorish abilities, and can reform due to being at Mihama, and will participate in the vorish adventures clients can book as pred or prey (in fact, this had been her idea when the group debated how to finance the school - Zamael had erected the buildings and compound, but left it to the residents to earn the necessary funds to keep it running). Although Yumiko has a hidden lewd side and is bi-curious, she is far less likely to agree to some sex before vore (while participation in the vorish activities is required for anyone studying or working at the academy, everyone can decide for themselves if they want to fulfil extra wishes of customers) - she does not want to make out with the next best stranger. It was due to this that Yumiko ended up in a relationship - a shemale anthro wolfess had decided that she craved a nice fuck before her booked meal in form of Yumiko. Ignoring the protests of the girl, the canine was about to rape her when Miles_Rivera heard the screams. Hoping to get a reward for stepping in, the blonde femboy came to Yumiko's rescue. Yumiko is an intelligent, witty girl with great knowledge and a sharp intellect. She analyzes situations quickly and precisely, showing a keen perception and a good understanding. Of the Mihama girls, she is by far the smartest, although Sachi is a talented learner, and Makina still shows a sliver of her childhood genius now and then. She is not particularly fond of the usual hubbub going on in the dorm, and so keeps a bit to herself - it is not that she does not want to interact with the others at all, but stuff like that quickly tires her out and strains her nerves (especially if she is mocked, something which she can't stand). Yumiko can appear a bit introverted at those times, but while not completely untrue, she is often just lost in thoughts, or tries her best to not start an argument, since she wants to go along well with the rest. She cares a great deal about her friends, although she is a bit embaressed to admitting that directly. On some occasions, Yumiko has functioned as a bit of a 'commander' or leader of the students, taking responsibility and using her strategic thinking to guide everyone to a good outcome. A lot of her hobbies are something she can do in (relative) solitude on her own - drawing or painting, browsing the net or playing games on her laptop, and reading books (Yumiko has a reputation as a bookworm, and she spends more time at the library than the rest, although Asako and Yuuji also like to read). While she has a distinct lewd side and some kinky things she likes to try out, like dressing up in certain outfits (see the bunnygirl picture), Yumiko does not want this to be public knowledge - although she and Miles have regularly been going at it in private. The girl is not generally opposed to sex and also does not find it problematic to enjoy a steamy fun time with others, as long as it is just casual sex, but she is more comfortable with people she knows and trusts. Furthermore, even Yumiko has a cute side - for example, she is easily frightened (i.e. by a ghost story), and she enjoys girly stuff now and then (but is usually too ashamed to admit it). Another rather interesting contrast to the elegant, refined, delicate behavior and attire that Yumiko usually shows are her eating habits. Blessed with naturally good looks, she does not need to watch her diet at all, and so she is a junk-food addicted, hungry glutton. Yumiko loves stuffing herself full with tasty food, not caring about calories or a balanced meal plan. And since she has more options available in Nexus, it is not uncommon for her to try and wolf someone down her gullet to churn them to sludge, being an excellent predator. Having a healthy appetite is not the same as being a cruel, uncaring, vicious beast though - Yumiko restrains herself and tries to only consume willing prey, or someone that broke the rules and deserves it.

The gal's eating habits have not caused any harm to her beauty - Yumiko has looks that are as pretty as they are sexy. Her skin is unblemished, light and fair, she has an attractive face with violet eyes and adorable, dark purple colored hair falling loosely down behind her back, reaching her waist. Her height is a little above average for an asian girl of her age, Yumiko standing five feet and seven inches tall. She sports a well-developed, nicely proportioned body with feminine appeal, featuring meaty thighs, a jiggly D cup bosom, and a round, sizable rear. While not reaching bombshell territory, she is definately a looker and turns many heads. Yumiko never had to do much for her appearance - she is just naturally blessed with good looks, as she barely works out and spends a lot of time indoors. In the meantime, her effecient, strong metabolism burns off any extra fat in a day or two tops. Although she is not a sporty or athletic type, Yumiko is still more powerful than the average person, her predatory nature and vorish skills giving her higher physical specs than she would have otherwise. It consists of sneakers, a black and blue colored buttoned dress, and a white shirt with a large collar worn over it. Yumiko wears shin-high black socks to go along with it, and as a personal touch, a blue, patterned necktie (all the other girls wear a bowtie). If she wears a casual outfit, her usual choice is a yellow jacket worn over a violet blouse and a white, knee-long skirt.
