History

Zerelia was born the Kingdom of Aeoma as a princess, attaining the position as royalty just by being born - lucky. Her family ruled the kingdom well, keeping the land prosperous while developing it into a new golden era.

However, just because she was born into royalty doesn't mean it was all fun and games. A powerful dragon cult was brewing plans when she was young, and they struck when she was only 14, killing her parents and family, leaving her as the only one alive before the attempt was struck down. The next three years saw an intense internal turmoil within the kingdom, Zeralia was shut in for her safety, and efforts were taken to track down the culprits - leading to the dragon cult. It leads to a conflict for 5 years resulting in a massive battle and many captured dragonlings. She was 22 when it ended - and two years later, the remnants of the cult struck a last desperate blow to send her into magical stasis that lasted for 557 years.

She woke up in 632 N.E, still as a 24 year old woman. The Dragon Knights had guarded her the whole time, and she had to return to society. She spent time relearning what had happened - keeping her physical strength at the very least, and obtaining a dragon of her own. Now as her kingdom has opened a portal to a great new land, another war with the giants in the north is brewing.

Aeoma needs a ruler it hasn't had in nearly 600 years. The kingdom needs her Queen.

Modern Day

Now that Zeralia has finally woken up and undergone supplementary training for recouperation - she focuses her efforts on gaining strength, securing her kingdom, and making sure it prospers. At this point the Dal'an order, the dragon knights protect the princess as she seeks to convince the council to approve of her being annointed Queen over all Aeoma. She may be directly descended from the great hero - but the council still needs to approve. The world seed project has also just been finished, supplementing the entire world with innately richer magic.

Special Story Events

Met a lovely woman named Yialdwin, and through a frantic
series of events has found herself friends with a dragon.

Cultural Information

Culturally speaking, her world is a rather violent one. Lots of wars, tribalistic communities to the south and east. The western portion has an ocean and a mountain range separates the eastern side of the continent.

To the north live giants and giantesses. In ages long past they rampaged throughout the world devouring and feasting, and though they have their own culture and society, Zeralia's ancestors didn't like it. Among other communities they tried to fight back, but very few managed to succeed. Occasionally some people might escape and seclude themselves, but as a society, Zeralia's ancestors were the first to manage to overthrow them. As time went on they expanded slowly from their mountain hideout, forming villages, buildings walls, expanding from a barely surviving hold in a mountain side to a great kingdom.

As the kingdom expanded, they learned various tricks and secrets to discourage the giants from attacking. Unfortunately with the relative peace the tribal communities all had, they adopted the harsh way of life - war. The tribal communities grew large, warred with each other, forming their own communities, and also forced the kingdom to defended themselves against these warring tribes now that they were free from fear of being eaten.

In Zeralia's time, she is living with a kingdom of considerable strength and prosperity. Generations of effort from her parents and their parents have helped her society expand to yield a considerable amount of territory. Fortresses were built along the eastern mountain range with the passes linking both sides to keep the border there safe. Massive walls and city strongholds guard the North, with excessive redundancies and networks of traps. The giants are not beaten - there are many of them, and they have merely been driven back. Once in a while attacks come, and wreak considerable devastation in their attempt to get their old lands back. She also has a lasting campaign to slowly bring the southern tribes to order, so they can benefit from her prosperity as well. However, with the threat to the north, she has a hard time balancing resources both human and economic.

With this prosperity though comes peace in her own kingdom. Religions can be practiced, the streets are clean, the food is relatively plentiful, and the society flourishes.

Under her rule her kingdom is experiencing a new golden age.
