An Apprentice to a lore keeper. On a journey to get something she lost back.

.... The snow was lashing out against the surrounding houses of the village, the sound of howling wind drowning out all others. It was a cold winter day in this usually quiet village. The townsfolk had already gathered enough food to survive for the winter. Typically they stayed inside to keep warm, so the markets were usually much emptier. The blizzard conditions had only recently stopped, the wind dieing down and the snow gently caressing the town it had abused so badly. Not too long afterwards there was a knock at the door. There, laying on the snow covered ground was a young girl, hair as white as the snow that covered her. Hovering above her was a strange crystalline creature with wings. The girl opens her eyes up to me... "Excuse me mister....Can you bring me to summer...It's..cold.." She said before passing out. And so began Chiu's apprenticeship under me, Roy Malvik.

Chiu had been cursed long before she fell on my doorstep, and for one so young too... After her recovery from being dragged through the blizzard for who knows how long, most likely thanks to her flying familiar, as odd as it looked, She offered to be my apprentice after finding that I was a lorekeeper, a mage who studies all magic. Yes, I remember that day...

"What am I going to teach a child like you" "Please please! I'll wash your shoes! I'll do your homework!" *sigh*...

Because of Chiu's cursed nature she had a closer connection with curses. They were easier for her to concoct and harness. Furthermore she already seemed to be familiar with warding magic, much to my surprise. I helped her establish her own pocket dimension, just something to keep her things in, while we studied magic. I couldn't say I taught her much, she already knew basics, if a little rough around the edges...

"I think that's enough practice for today..." "Aww why!!!?" "Because frogs are coming out of my mouth....*hiccup*" *grumble*...

She was a very enthusiastic apprentice, I'd say she had the most energy out of all my other past apprentices...combined...

"Oh! I want to read that book!" "Wait now hold on that's at the top-"
"Ladder!" "Watch where you're going! wait!" *Crash!*

I thoroughly disapproved of the kind of charm magic she had gotten into, but my studies of her lineage showed hints of demonic blood, so I suppose it was fruitless to argue. Of course this discovery only made things more puzzling, who was this girl, and why did she know so much already.

By the time she managed to expand her pocket dimension she had already begun to learn some riskier arcane tricks, such as life transfer. I attempted to train her more on wards, but she was too focused on learning curses. Well.. I suppose there's no reason to squelch the enthusiasm of youth.... Though she really ought to learn more methods of protecting herself.

Finally one day, she was setting off on a journey. She said it was something she had to do alone. I feel she isn't ready, but I suppose it is her battle... I can only hope my teachings were enough, for I sense a bad wind ahead..... Cursed divinations...

Chiu Neska, A young girl standing at the height of 4'6". The magnificent color of her pink orchid colored eyes stand out in an exotic manner. She has white hair in a semi-short cut, despite how young she looks. Her hair isn't as rigid as would be expected, infact it is quite soft and silky, though a bit odd. It all makes her stand out even more in an exotic kind of manner. She is quite the cheerful one, one would be hard pressed to find her face in anything but a cheerful and enthusiastic smile, her high amounts of energy could be felt just looking at her. Her skin is very smooth, and just a bit pale, her upper body concealed by a very comfortable black sweatshirt with a high neck. Below that is a white black and grey pleated skirt, a little short on her though, hanging somewhat above the knee. Below that her smooth thighs are clearly seen until concealed by a pair of black stockings about halfway down, eventually hidden as well by a pair of black boots. A strange black jester-type cap resides on her head, An insignia of a triangle pointing up and a triangle pointing down, sharing the same center, creating a star, is embroidered on the front center of the hat. hanging from her ears are two earrings, a pair of glass orbs, that seem to contain some kind of magical look to them. She also has a wristband with the shape of a metal star, and in the center another glass orb. Two cute little black wings protrude from her back, but don't seem to actually connect to her lithe and delicate little form, however the wings are only visible when she has her flight spell on, otherwise they are not there, as her fiendish lineage isn't strong enough for her to have them naturally.
