Deathbloom

A particularly hyperactive and chaotic fairy from the Darkwing_Swarm, lover of almost anything that brings about excitement or chaos.

Many fairy are unpredictable, Deathbloom Voidstar is no different, being just under a foot tall at her normal size, and about 5ft 9 when at “human” size, Deathbloom is as excitable and chaotic as any of her kin, if not more so. The cute girl absolutely worships chaos, lotterslly pledging herself to the fairy goddess of chaos in hope to keep her life entertaining, though she can be calm for short times and think things through, like most Darkwings she seems to act like she’s on a constant sugar-rush to the average non-fairy.

Aside from being a lover of all things chaotic, like many of her clan the fairy is an excellent brewer, able to take necter and make a sweet thick, almost honey like, mead with it. This also translates into the natural alchemy skill to use her fairy dist to shrink or grow others, and herself when needed, usually carrying a pouch of shrink and growth dust if needed, tgough this trait, along with her wings, valuable for potions of flightC make the fairy a valuable prize for budding alchemists and witches. Many leave fairy houses, like bird houses, in their garden for fae, in exchange fir fairy dust and fairy mead, and Deathbloom is happy to partake in this trade herself.

When talking the girl will often fidgit about, frequently randomly flying and moving whike in a conversation, just to keep herself focused, having otherwise often a short attention span and being easilly distracted. Deathbloom offen can find herself talking quitw fast, non fairies can ofteb get left behind in a conversation, though not intentionally.

Deathbloom is moderately skillsd in magic, namely dark magic, nature, healing and illusion. She is also quite capable on most elemental magic, however physically her diminitive stature usually makes an easy fight.

When talking to someone she likes to sit on their head, or clevage if possible. If someone is laying down she favours seating herself on their belly.

She leaves a trail of purple and blue fsiry dust when she flies about and in the dark often emits a purple glow, watching fairy colonies dancing in the night is said to be wonderous.



Quick ways to get her attention/Interest: (Extract adapted from Ardithian guide to hunting fairies)

Honey; As a fairy she has a near addiction to anything sweet, and will happily be fed the golden treat, or sneak it if allowed.

Sweets/Candy; pretty much the same as Honey, especially cola, powdered sugar, ice-cream and gooey chocolate.

A Fairy House; These are like bird houses, but for fairies. Sometimes made from old Doll houses, or sold by Garden/DIY stores, they can be found in private gardens or local Parks.

Fairy Lure; Like the fairy houses, they can be found in DIY/Hardware stores, a device classed under pest control, which emits a hypnotic sweet scented liquid laiden with aphrodisiacs abd relaxants, liable to draw in not just Deathbloom but any nearby fairies and leave them nice and drugged up.




An Ardithian Guide to Fairy Ownership:




Keeping a fairy: So youve caught, or bought a fairy and don’t plan to eat her? (yet). Congratulations, fairies make excellent pets, being long lived or immortal, intelligent and energetic, make sure you have both the equipment and time to invest in them!


Equipment:

Glass Terrarium; These are recommended over a standard cage, though acceptable in a pinch, one with an openable roof, to let your new pet out to play, is encouraged. This will provide not just a place to look at your pet between playing times, but also provide a place to keep her safe from fairy predators, like harpies. lizards, carnivourous plants and “hunter” Fairies, as well as give her a place to call her own and to rest and relax in. Fairies are social creatures and multiple can be stored in one tank, assuming they get along. Your new pet may sometimes bring back friends, and if they like the tank enough, may choose to stay!

Fairy Anatomy book; These are useful for identify your type of fairy, learning her quirks and kinks, as well as any others she may bring back. It also provides information on their dietary needs as, despite your new pet’s insistant claims, a fairy cannot live on candy and honey alone. (though the little liar will try to tell you she can!)

Dust collector; Standard in most mid range and above fairy tanks, these devices collect and fairy dust your pet produces in her terrarium, this dust can be sold to alchemists for considerable profit.

Magic surpressor; Sometimes standard in high end cages, these crystal like devices will ensure your pet cant play tricks on you or escape when its not playtime, vecause, if allowed to, she will. frequently.

Toys; As oreviously mentioned, your new fairy is an intelligent and energetic pet, toys help keep her stimulated and also allow her to entertsin herself in your absence. Fairy toys can rabge greatly from brightly coloured balls to tiny chess sets and games consoles, abd proces vary. But a happy pet is priceless, and a bored fairy is a mischivous anf troublesome fairy. Just remember, toys do not replace you, and do not entirely make up for your pet’s need to socialise and spend time with her owner.

Nectar Still Fairies love to collect Nectar from plants, like bees, and often will refine it into honey, this honey may be consumed, or even again refined into products like mead or baked goods. This will serve as both an entertainment and work source for your new pet.
