The four boys grew up together from the first day of school. They all lived in the same neighborhood, and spent every possible second growing up together forming an unbreakable bond. But not everything is meant to last. As the boys got older they began to have other obligations. While they didn't spend every waking second together both in and out of school they still had an amazing friendship that would take more than that to fracture.
Unfortunately such a thing does exist in the world. And that is the boiling acids of a tummy. While they did train and go to the gym together to try and prevent this sort of thing from happening, all four boys were preyish in nature. They know it's only a matter of time until one of them falls. Then the next and then another. Eventually, they realized, there would be other people they were close with. Mainly whatever predator decided to add the pack to their bulk.

The boys ran into a hungry Silrath at a party. They did not leave the party in one piece. Nor solid.
