Jared speaks in surfer lingo, and constantly mentions "hitting the waves", but ironically, he doesn't surf; He has the skills, but his fire apitude is so strong he can't get wet,(water just sizzles and dries up instantly on his hide) and that defeats the whole purpose of surfing, right?

As a red yoshi, he can obviously breathe fire, (his breath even smells of gasoline naturally... and his saliva seems to be at least partly composed of the fuel. His butt smells of kerosine.) and can even do so seemingly out of nowhere! Of course, he's not too mean, since he's a yoshi, but he's literally warmer than other yoshis, inside and out. Snow falling on him quickly melts and dries up, rain can sizzle on him, and he's the perfect one to cuddle with if you're cold; just watch out: his shell saddle can singe your butt. (If you can somehow handle sitting there, you'll melt, and will be absorbed into Jared.) Of course, cuddling outside of him may not last too long...
He has a suit that regulates his heat radiation abilities, and usually only wears it when playing games at Rodoo and Radaa's arcade, to keep the machines from overheating, but has started wearing it more often in an everyday setting, especially during summer. The suit is silver-colored and rubbery. There's a plastic visor that goes over his eyes, and the suit covers everything but his shoes, nostrils, and mouth besides. The way it works is like so: all he has to do is touch his fingers together on both hands. Touching his thumbs to his pinkies will turn it off completely, and touching his thumbs to his pointer fingers afterwards will turn it back on. If he wants to turn it up or down, he just has to touch his thumb to his middle finger on one hand. The right hand turns the cooling up, the left turns it down. The meters on the suit deplete when he turns it down. He can't turn it down to 0, though; only 1. If he wants it to be 0, he has to turn it off. He enjoys eating others while wearing it, simply to feel the stretch. Ask if you'd like him to wear it in the Rp. (I now have a picture of the suit Here. Thanks to my friend for doing that! You know who you are. ;) )
