"Arts Of War"
Her most powerful form of offensive attack . The tattoos on her body can leave her body and attack as she commands. They are essentially a sort of thick living ink when off of her body.
She can only use them when her bare skin is in contact with a solid surface as they must transfer from her to become dangerous. When off of her body they are susceptible to damage by anything which would disperse ink (most elemental magics) but physical attacks are fairly useless against them.
They can also be separated from her control. If she is incapacitated while they are off of her ,They become useless puddles of ink. Any tattoo she loses in this way is also lost from her body permanently ,so she uses this ability sparingly.
She can not use them when she is drunk or under some form of mind alteration . Because they take considerable amount of her concentration to control. when she is drunk she simply cannot focus her mind so, they remain dormant on her body. Also she discovered , when under great stress or severe pain, or exhaustion, she cannot concentrate well enough to control them.
The Dragon: (Named Onaka,meaning Stomach) A long green snake-like chinese style dragon. can attack only physically capable of "eating" targets. This is also what allows her to same size swallow
Thorns: Black Tribal tattoo style thorns. Capable of entrapping opponents and attacking physically.
The Koi: A Japanese style koi surrounded by its own water cushion. Capable of doing lightning and water based magic attacks.
The Firebird: (recently acquired from Sir_Matt , doesn't leave her body, Not pictured) A small tribal style bird on the back of her right hand. When in direct sunlight , gives her the power to conjure heat and fire and throw fire balls. Doesn't grant her any fire resistance.
Stars: 2 small stars near her left eye. They aid her perception and enhance her sense of sight
Roses: several roses on her left shoulder and one on her abdominals. They act as her " revive " spells. Everytime she is ko'd or ingested they help her "cling to life" for a while longer and recuperate later.( they keep her from being completely digested in some cases)
Storm Clouds: Japanese stylized clouds that cover her entire right arm. she can use these to blanket the immediate area and visually inhibit her opponent . she can use her Star tattoos to see through her own smoke screen.

The dragon tattoo allows her body to stretch so she can swallow similar sized meals She also can absorb what her dragon tattoo eats. She likes any type of prey really , what ever makes her feel full and has something she can plunder. She prefers to eat other thieves or pirates ("Eliminate the competition">smirk<) . Shes fond of girl meals as well.
Notes on Digestion
I will usually not go in depth on the digestion , but to clarify. She usually spits up what ever is left over physically after a meal (bones ,clothes,etc.) She doesn't absorb souls and usually expells them after the meal is digested through her work outs.
Born of a merchant family , Shenzi was taken during a raid at a very young age. She was raised amongst the bandits that killed her parents and eventually grew to be one of them. Soon she ascended the ranks of the ruthless men and women, to claim the group as her own. For several years they enjoyed the fruits of their evil deeds, and this developed a rather hedonistic veiw of the world for Shenzi. Within only 12 years, the once small bandit troupe had grown to control nearly an entire countries trade lines in complete secret.
In her 27th year , Shenzi's dark ambition had grown and she wished to spread her troupe's control even further. It was in this branching out that led to the groups utter down fall. In a hidden away place , on the outskirts of their territory a very wealthy man of magic was said to live and control the trade that entered the bandit's country. She sought to claim this mans land and wealth to seize the postion and continue her spread.
Taking a considerable number of her bandits and trusted lieutenants , she moved on the man and his land. Underestimating the rumors of his magic and power, Shenzi lost her bandits and nearly her life. She alone managed to kill the man, but not before she was cursed to live an eternal life to serve only herself and never embrace a final death.
Many years passed and she continues to live a semi immortal life to this day.
Only 'alive' until yet another death chokes life from her, just to come back repeatedly, enduring the pain of death , yet not to be granted its finality.
She is cursed to her eternal life of Greed.
and is perfectly content with that.
