Never/Dislike Hyscharak is a land ruled by predatory snakes who demand they be worshiped almost as gods. In this world, you are either on top or on the bottom of the food chain, depending on your race and social standing. (I'm happy to play either side.)

The thought of being eaten alive is a frightening concept to say the least, however the Hyschari teach that it is the key to reincarnation after death. True or not, this dogma has sent many a citizen to their death, eaten whole and still alive.

The Hyschari frown upon chewing a meal to shreds, though this is not to say it does not happen. For other predators living in Hyscharak, one must first gain permission from a naga superior to devour another, especially in such a savage manner.

It's about as nightmarish and gruesome as one might imagine. Cocooned within the tight confines of another's inner flesh, slathered in thick mucous and digestive enzymes, skin and meat slowly being broken down right off the bone. It's not pleasant, and it's more than agonizing, a true waking nightmare. To the devout, this torment is the ultimate test of faith, the final trial before death.

Death is inevitable in the end, bringing about a final, well-earned peace to the suffering. Hopefully, they will be reborn in the next life, perhaps even as a naga...or so they believe. In truth, it matters not whether the prey was faithful, or human cattle, or taken unwillingly...they all meet the same eternal darkness of oblivion in the end.

For the typical Hyschari, a meal devoured whole will provide enough meat to last a few weeks. Most meals, if not squeezed to death, will last at least a few days within the stomach before succumbing to death and slow digestion.

While they prefer their meals alive and kicking, there are at least a few cooking methods the Hyschari practice, including but not limited to: Spit roasting, Boiling, and slow roasting. Once again, if a citizen wishes to engage in these practices, it must usually be done with the permission and under the supervision of a naga; this ensures that the act was made legal under Imperial ruling.

Without any rights, slaves and meals alike are often treated harshly by their masters. There are also many in Hyscharak who share a sadistic streak. It's not uncommon for intimate activities behind closed doors to get more than a little rough, borderlining rape if not outright so. The Hyschari impose strict laws against rape, but they can only do so much to protect the populace.

Unlike slaves and meals, servants and civilians are often treated well by the Hyschari, despite knowing that they could be eaten at any time. Even those without rights are still at least kept fed and warm, and most would agree that sexual relations don't need to be so forceful.

Sex Always/Love

Sexuality can be diverse, though most Hyschari prefer to be truly intimate with members of their own kind. Sexual activity with other races is often one-sided. Along with murder and theft, rape is a punishable offense, though prisoners and slaves can be used as their masters desire. Servants are usually treated with more consideration, and often the act can be consensual. With humans, sexual contact is almost always utilitarian, forcing two humans to breed to produce more meat, or if the male proves unruly, a forced 'milking' to obtain a donor sample. Outright sex with a human is almost viewed as bestiality, and generally frowned upon. That's not saying it doesn't happen.

In all honesty, I'm not into anything extremely filthy. That being said, imagine yourself in the coils of a giant snake. Several hundreds of pounds of pressure squeezing the breath out of your lungs...which are quite well protected by your ribs. Meanwhile, your squishy bladder and intestines are left relatively unguarded. The end result? If you don't soil yourself in fear of being eaten, or upon death by asphyxiation, chances are whatever waste you have in you will get squeezed out like toothpaste out the tube.

As stated before, the Hyschari employ the use of their own spirituality and religious manipulation to drive their empire; convincing the population into seeing them as living children of god, these nagas have ensured that they will never go hungry, for there will always be a devoted follower hoping to achieve a better life by ending this one within the belly of a snake.

Of course, not every follower as as devoted as he or she thinks. Often times, one can find themselves having second thoughts, even begging their serpent masters to allow them some time to reconsider, to let them go and not eat them, please. However, the naga is quick to remind them that they already made their decision, and to back out would be an act of heresy- which is executable by death. Aside from worshipers, there are slaves and humans who've cried and protested against their destined fate, only for those pleas to fall on deaf ears.

Never/Dislike Allright, here's the controversial one. Like any snake, the naga must consume larger meals as it grows in size. And so, children are most certainly a foodsource here. In Hyscharak, a family with children may be visited at any time by a naga parent with child. That young naga is not visiting for a playdate. Additionally, child slavery is indeed a thing. However, it exists on a blurry line between 'slave' and 'pet'. They possess very few rights, if any, and are often denied clothing aside from the standard collar, unless the weather calls for it. While lack of consent is not illegal, sexual activity is generally considered something the slave must understand and agree to, with measures being taken to ensure the slave isn't hurt and perhaps able to enjoy the experience.
