Dorinda

"Your ilk always has bored me. Begone."

-Exposition, for those So Inclined-

Note: This is a bit of lengthy history that does involve Dorinda's connections to many of the other alts in Okusennman's Roster. For a summarized version, skip to 'TL;DR', though you may miss some critical data if you're the studious type. The exposition is under nearly CONSTANT construction, to fill in bits and explain where certain other characters fit into Dorinda's story. As such, it's not entirely expected for one to be versed in it prior to play with her.

To most, she appears to be a young girl, red-headed and eyed, spiteful and flippant. This isn't even the start of what can be used to describe the girl now known as Dorinda, far beyond the years her perfect skin and youthful appearance lead most to believe. The aunt of the demonic AluLilu and the angelic NexusAmara, Dorinda, or more properly, Doresdal Delinda Navatus, was one of the mighty Seraphim prior to the great fall, during which at least a third of Heaven's angels fell after siding with Lucifer in the conflict. She was also one of the fallen to be sent to the pit after courting mortals, to be trapped amongst the lustlorn beasts almost punished there.

Millennia later, she found a slither to escape into an alternate dimension and timeline, the only demon to be freed from the pit. Many assume this was due to her absorption, consumption, or assimilation of any demon that fought her, and she's regaled any that ask of the bloody conflict extending three thousand years in the dark abyss. The world she came to was not unlike the medieval realm of most 'fantasy' that many Nexus-Dwellers are familiar with, and was a reality far different from her own. She assumed the guise of a noblewoman, and secured a dominant role in the slave trade, which was how she encountered the Nekomahji Prince Rodo for the first time, planting a tainted seed of lust within him so that he could never achieve his true goal and providing him with a portal to escape into the modern-day Nexus when the time to do so came. She did this for her own benefit, though this is something she seldom shares. The very world the cat-boy mage was meant to save burned after his departure, torn apart by war derived from the removal of the 'unnatural magics' the stone in his breast played vessel to (for those not familiar with Rodo, he bears the source of magic in his world in his chest, the Iuluna Stone), and thus Dorinda's conquest of that world was easy amongst the conflicting mortals and gods, whom were weakened by their own battles waged to protect their mortal children.

Now bored with that world's conquest, she left it to her demonic underlings therein, and escaped after Rodo to the Nexus, reuniting with family long lost due to the strains of time, and simultaneously using the gateway as a means to travel between time periods and dimensions to plant seeds of her influence throughout. In some realms, she's a space pirate, in others a demonic overlord, and in some a simple noblewoman with a wicked streak. In every existence, she's dragged some poor soul into the Nexus, often playing as some external force, or playing individuals against one another with seeds of jealousy or negative emotion. Her sphere of influence is terrifying, and the souls she's dragged into the Nexus include beings from Gods to mere mortals, to faces of fictional significance to some.

But why would she gather all of these entities here? An Archmage denied of reaching full power, a lapine lad with the power of illusion, a siren demigod, a serpentine princess... She is the thread that ties them all together. But as to why, well... She's keeping her tongue sealed for now. Though some beings are aware of her plans, even if they've been dragged into them by circumstance, and will do whatever they can to stop them. Whether they'll succeed, time alone will tell.

In further documentation of the demon's escapades, one should see her first progression back to the beginning of a particular timeline parallel to that of the generally accepted Earth. Curious of this particular dimension's lack of a Judea-Christian Deity or anything associated with it, save for humanity's faith in it, she began to explore what she at one point considered simply mythological. She impersonated the Goddess Persephone, setting into play the events that plagued Sideon, TheSeaWitch Ursula, Siorcanna, and many other ocean-based beings by stirring up conflict between the deities of Olympus over the fallen Poseidon's domain before she relinquished the position, releasing the Goddess of the Underworld from her whims in silence as the chaos burned on. She dragged Sideon to the Nexus after the victorious Hades took the seas for his own, and the latter two followed in suit, the prior due to a lust for vengeance, the latter due to devotion. Her meddling drew the attention of creatures that were at one point considered Titans, simply known as Question and TheAnswer, whom were quite aware of her activities. She convinced these beings, these Old Ones, that they were truly the enemies of one another, and caused a conflict that consumed multiple European Nations in flames and inexplicable events. When both were exhausted from conflict, Dorinda banished and bound them to the Nexus, the pair still convinced that their opposite had doomed them to that fate, though Question by her nature soon forgot the events.

Her own exploits involving this destruction drove her East, where she found a passageway into the land of Serpents. Seeking further mischief and intrigued by the serpentfolk, she planted a seed of jealousy in the heart of LadyMedusa, convincing her to trick the serpentine princess Orochihime, known more affectionately to her friends as Orochan, into escaping to the Nexus and away from her father, whose grip on her was suffocating the Princess' need for personal space. Many serpentine folk seemed to follow her, some members of the kingdom, some from other dimensions, yet all of them seemed to know of Orochan, and all of them shared that special connection to Dorinda sparked by Medusa's envy. As she came to know some of them, she heard tales of a being in the east in that same dimension, living in the deserts and preying upon naga and their kin. Dorinda investigated, finding Mihraj, whom she intermediately transports to and from his desert into the Nexus on her own whims.

Her nephews soon figured out that she had been transporting to and fro between dimensions, and Alu rushed to join her, while Nexus rushed to stop and put an end to both of the demons. Needless to say, the latter failed. Despite the fact that he was a seraph, his powers were dwarved by that of his older and wiser aunt, whom had absorbed so much energy herself. She bound him to the Nexus as punishment, and bound him from any pathway that would lead to where she was in time or space, allowing her to do as she wished. Still, the events she set in motion had doomed this world, and as such she decided it best to investigate another dimension.

The next realm is one she referred to as a Fictional Convergence Point. Many fantastic stories perceived as fiction in the other four dimensions she had been to (Her Original Dimension, the Shambalite Dimension Rodo is from, The Mythological Dimension, and the Nexus Home Dimension) seemed to coexist almost unknowingly amongst one another. It was quite strange, as certain events occurred almost parallel to one another in close proximity, and seemed unnoticed by all but a general crowd. While there were other instances, her most notable encounters were in Japan. This dimension is where she encountered Panty and Stocking, the prior of which in various forms, the latter of which in various incarnations, but, as of the current data available, one core form. Dorinda corrupted Stocking in most instances, and stole away Panty's various incarnations, as well as one version of Stocking she herself left untouched. At the same time, though unnoticed by the residents of Daten City, a plot for World Conquest occurred involving a mystical force called Life Fibers. While the plot failed, Dorinda held particular interest in some of the combatants, and yanked one Nui Harime's soul into the Nexus, salvaging what she could of the Life Fibers themselves and scattering them in the new dimension as to give her purpose within it while she concocted a plan for her use. She also met Atemu, and beat him in a rigged game, claiming to banish him to the Shadow Realm, but instead sending him to the Nexus.

This version of Earth suffered a cataclysm akin to a Nuclear Apocalypse, which gave birth to a version of the thing known to many as the 'Pokemon World'. As such, she recruited many trainers, and even isolated an entire region to her whims. She even nabbed abnormalities, including certain 'gijinka' and one notable superheroine. To not arouse too much suspicion, however, she simply slips them to and fro between the Nexus, allowing them to assume their actions there were but dreams. One trainer that particularly caught her interest was Satael ((PKMNTrainerSatael)), whom was an incarnation of the Nekomahji Patron God that Rodo's kind had worshiped so devoutly. She also managed to obtain the were-Zoroark Shurik, whom she seems to have a bit more of a literal hold of, often directly controlling his actions when he now shifts.

The next dimension was quite the peculiar one, and one where she played more of a bargaining role. This was the realm that the GRPT originated in, or at least from which its original members mostly hail. In short, it's a realm where Earth is under near-constant attack from giant monsters, including but not limited to humanoids. In this universe, Dorinda assumed the form of a scientist that aided the GRPT, though, in reality, she was drawing most of the monsters they fought in from other planes. When she was almost discovered, she feigned her death and opened up a permanent portal to the Nexus, which played both to the GRPT's advantage and disdain, allowing them to get more work and resources from other dimensions, but also allowing unknown threats to enter their own world. This did, however, lead to the introduction of Mikasa Ackerman ((GRPT_Mikasa)) to the GRPT, and the creation of the Titan Resistance Division.

And these are only the start of her exploits...

TL;DR

This description is from a slightly out-of-character perspective.

Dorinda is a powerful demoness known as a Fallen Seraph, often disguised as a redheaded woman of varying age. She has a habit of traversing dimensions and assuming different identities, and dragging her victims into the Nexus to torment them or to prepare them for some greater purpose. Among her victims are virtually all of the beings listed on Okusennman, even if they are unaware of it. And, yes, that does include the fan characters. As to her ultimate goals for them, she'll seldom state.

Dorinda herself will often appear mortal, and for the sake of keeping consistency, she will act as though she had mortal limitations, thus making it possible for her to be consumed, though she very rarely 'stays dead'. Honestly, it's seldom that her body really and truly dies, regardless of the atrocities done to it. She'll often cite that worse has happened to her in 'The Pit' where she was trapped for three millennia. Usually, she'll take the role of a slave trader or mistress, as she feels it to be a natural fit, though other positions of power suit her well, such as that of a noblewoman, queen, or goddess incarnate. Not to say she won't take a more humble guise if she thinks it'll play to her advantage to secure prey. Malicious to the core, she often hides her true nature to appeal more to her potential victims.

Capabilities

This list includes the known capabilities of Dorinda. For information regarding how the player handles combat, see 'OoC'.

General Vorish Aptitude: Dorinda is quite capable of most varieties of vore, preferring Oral and Anal. She is capable of Unbirth, though she often refuses to do so unless she wishes to turn a target into one of her demonic spawn. In most cases, unless she wants to bring the victim to the Nexus (often reforming them herself if she does so), she'll tend to absorb most of the soul's energy, as well, though she typically is not one to wantonly destroy someone's spiritual essence entirely, oddly enough allowing them to pass on to whichever afterlife they belong to, or to reform in a new body, should they have the capability. Along with this comes the predictable elasticity.

Superhuman Strength: Dorinda is incredibly strong, on multiple occasions lifting boulders in combat and hurling them at castle walls. Usually, though, she reserves this strength to when she is in her demonic form.

Soul-Shift: One of Dorinda's more useful abilities, she can rip the souls of the recently departed and insert them into the Nexus, reforming them in the process. This is how she brought Laoch and Nui (Project_Nui), amongst others, to the Nexus.

Shape Shifting: Dorinda can assume most human and demihuman forms with relative ease. She apparently stole this from another demon she consumed in The Pit.

True Form - Fallen Seraphim: Donning black platemail armor, Dorinda stands at seven feet tall in her true form, sprouting three white, scaled wings, three black feathered wings, and a wing that seems to sport both in an ever-shifting mix. Her hair is tied in a long ponytail that goes beyond her heels and she wields a massive halberd. Unlike in her human form, Dorinda has full access to all of her demonic powers in this state, and will often rip most opponents to pieces in a matter of moments if she remains in it. As such, she rarely dons this form until she sees it fitting to try to conquer a plane of existence. It's uncertain what extent of power she holds in this vessel.

OoC

Okay, first and foremost, obviously an alt of Okusennman.

Despite her power, Dorinda is both predator and prey, though she has an obvious predatory lean.

In regards to brutal combat, it's honestly advisable that it is avoided. I am not the type of player that likes to God Mode, but... Well, Dorinda's power is equivalent to that of a deity, and surpasses that of virtually every character on my alt list. If she really fights, she's likely going to murder the shit out of most opponents, unless they possess God-Like abilities themselves. There is a reason she mostly stays in her human form, and she will go down without a fight if the mood fancies her to be a victim, or her plans must move forward with her apparent death. But if she's put in a position where her ethereal form is threatened alongside her body, she'll turn nasty quite quickly.

In the event you DO wish to fight with Dorinda at her full strength, I do have a full list of her combat capabilities on hand. Given her experience in The Pit, and the fact she absorbed almost every demon and fallen angel inside of it, that list is QUITE extensive. I do not post it here mostly because I don't want to scare people away from playing with her as, most of the time, she's in her mortal form and only slightly less susceptible to bodily harm than a regular human. Again, I really, REALLY advise against this.

Do not call her a succubus. I have Cindel for that, and it's one of the fastest ways to offend Dorinda to the point where she won't want to talk to you or (worse) she'll want to subject you to some horrid punishment.

Dorinda's personality is flippant. Sometimes she plays nice, other times she's quite malicious.

This character's kind of under perpetual construction, due to the very nature of how she works with the rest of the alt list.
