Whole profile is a bit outdated on the grounds that I am too lazy to go and fix it. Ask me stuff. I don't bite. Much.
And am not a fan of IC approaches.
"I require you to fold into my uterine lining!" ~Mimzee, just about any time she meets anyone.
Status: Blargh. Wombs.
I don't expect you to read all of this, but at the very least skim through it please so you have some idea what you're dealing with.
In one world and timeline, a certain Mesprit named Penny happened upon The_Worldstrider. Unknown to the both of them at the time, a single swish of her hair tendril against the Gardevoir's bare skin took her emotions. And so, without any inhibitions holding her back, Artemis soon after had a Mesprit struggling within her womb. It didn't take long for Arty to get those emotions back, using her otherworldly powers, and in addition Penny was encased in an eggshell. A week she spent like this, and after she came out found she had changed. A Ralts at first, she survived the mind wiping by separating her mind from her body during the transformation process. With the legendary base combined with the already great latent psychic powers within the species' body, Penny looked down at her hands and smiled. She needed a new name, and Artemis choose this name as Mimzee.
She stayed with Artemis as she traveled back to her own world, bringing the total number of the Gardevoir family species up by one. She had one of them make a home for her as she waved goodbye to Artemis for the time being, spending a few months in this world to hone her skills. A few thousand years evolved into a Kirlia, Mimzee decided it was time for her to go back to her own world, taking the Bridge back as she was advised with Artemis' parting words.
Mimzee arrived in her home world with a sort of crash, a few feet of scorched grass behind her as she entered. She sighed, smiling and happy to be back and with a new form, new powers along with it.
Happy with the change as she looked at herself in the natural mirror of water, the next thing she did was make a base. A home more than a base and with her new strength, she cut and stone out of the ground, taking hours to meticulously form every detail of her home. The door would be made out of a very hardened dirt, while the rest a solid stone, and the whole thing just her size. Using her now worldstriding powers, carefully she cut off cloth from her own dress, and before her eyes it grew back near instantly. So she used this cloth to make herself a bed, sticking it up on four perfectly cut small towers of stone. A door she fastened out of wood, cutting down a tree she deemed as unimportant and cut it into the rectangular shape to fit the entrance. It is here she made her home, near the shores of Lake Verity. Still unknown to her that this was the lake she originally protected.
TL;DR version: PennyMesprit was unbirthed by The_Worldstrider, became a Ralts, lived with Artemis for a while, transcended universes and is both magical and psychic at the same time.
Mimzee is a very arrogant and narcissistic specimen of the Kirlia species, believing herself to be the most powerful psychic type around. Power hungry and always up for a challenge, whenever something threatens her she will never back down. This often leads to her ending up as prey, and still she refuses to change back to the physically larger Gardevoir form.
Her demeanor does a complete 180 when faced with other Worldstriders, instead going as humble as possible. Aside from the occasional poke, she can't do much to them despite them being able to do nearly anything they want to her, should they care to. This is mainly due to her inexperience as a worldstrider.
...Was the old Mimzee. In her more recent appearances, she has mellowed out. With having her own children now she felt the motherly tones of being a parent, the Ralts children cracking her stone heart and revealing a soft, loving center. This love is mainly shown specifically towards the Ralts, and to most others her stagnant nature remains as bright as ever. This is especially shown when anything threatens her children at all, easily willing to sacrifice her own life to save them and showing no mercy at the prospect.
The main thing that sets Mimzee apart from every other normal Kirlia, and indeed the rest of her evolutionary line, is that she is able to stride across dimensions. Much as a TARDIS dematerializes here and rematerializes there, Mimzee can simply phase shift out of any universe she's in. There one moment, simply non existent the next. Between any two universes, though, is the Void, among other names. The Nothing. No space, nor time. A realm where those without protection of other Worldstriders find their soul, their entire existence of anything, torn to shreds so violently by the Worlds' Winds that not even Artemis herself could put it back together, their energy added to the infinite nothing that is the Void, and forming what's commonly seen as arching, blue-ish lightning. That is, if one could even see there.
What this grants Mimzee, though, is a massive boost to her psychic potential, as well as adding notable magical capabilities. While this is akin to being left or right handed, Mimzee favoring her psychic side, she is adept at magic as well and often times uses that when shrinking friend and foe alike.
Mainly though, this grants her access to various energy pools, vast pools of potential energy originating in each universe she crosses over into. Her permanent one she calls upon in times of need is the one from the Quarter, although usually she's able to sustain whatever she so wishes in whatever universe without having to resort to this. In effect, this is a massive power boost on top of what was already there. Able to bound oceans in a single jump, sprint across countries in seconds, even longer distance teleportation, although that's more unreliable than ever now, on top of many other varies talents she's learned over the millennia.
Yes, Millennia. With worldstriding comes optional immortality, though don't confuse that with invincibility. Aging has come to a point where Mimzee can choose whether or not she wants to age, regardless of her physical appearance.
As for how these mana pools work in terms of power, I defer you to a conversation I had with Arty for fear of me screwing it up again.
[TW] -> [Mimzee]: At a point, most worldstriders reach a top cap, with exceptions. The Ten Halving rule, basically making it even ground at said top cap.
[TW] -> [Mimzee]: Unless she has adapted a temple system like Arty, in which case the Ten Halving rule is almost void.
[Mimzee] -> [TW]: Mimzee's occasionally collected some artifacts, but mostly for ease of travel. Tends to piss off a lot of Gods, so has to find alternate routes to find new territory. For those that she bothers to find, anyway.
[Mimzee] -> [TW]: So ignoring that for Ach, what exactly is that cap? Or rather, did Mimzee reach that, if so when/why? :#
[TW] -> [Mimzee]: It's basically explore -every world around yours-, or at least visit and claim the power increase. Ten Halving revers to the distance and amount of power you'll get from a world you've visited. For instance, a neighboring world will give you 50% of the power from it- while not in it. Subsequently, it drops fast then seems to level out before the connection is too weak to draw power from. 50, 25, 12.5, 6.25, 3.125, 1.625, and so on and so forth.
[Mimzee] -> [TW] So then do some Worldstriders get more from this process than others, and does that have anything to do with the previous form's abilities? I distinctly remember being told that was something of a factor...
[TW] -> [Mimzee]: You gain more power from worlds- up to 25% from worlds of a similar standing. Worlds with lots of "Magic" users will empower those who draw from that sort of power, likewise worlds demanding physical resistances will empower fighters.
As a psychic type and Worldstrider, Mimzee possesses far more psychic power than other Kirlias of normal stature. This is also due to her having the maturity and overall power of a Gardevoir, but choosing to stay in Kirlia state. Beyond that, her normal psychic abilities still are her main weapons, including telekinesis, telepathy, limited teleportation, matter transmutation, active mind reading that she mostly uses for understanding what's spoken to her, a limited arsenal of spells, a form of thinking that she calls "Shrink Time" that allows her to shrink or grow others and herself by thinking, although it takes a few minutes of concentration to get started, the ability to read emotions, assimilate emotions into her own state of being, and the ability to feed on positive emotions without harm to the other person.
Mimzee's tutu-like growth all around her is in fact much like a secondary layer of skin, years of Worldstriding giving her control over it's length and appearance all together. It can grow near infinitely, given Mimzee has energy to do so with, and is resistant, though not immune, to tearing and ripping. Cutting, however, is as effective as it is on paper. As it is directly under her control, she can shape it into whatever she wants, usually a pouch on her front for her growing children.
While normally this would give her extra defense, Mimzee was born with a bit of a birth defect here, and in fact the cloth limits no damage at all, usually leading to an instant knock out whenever hit.
Mimzee can switch to one of three other forms: Gardevoir, Ralts, and her former place as Mesprit. She can do this at will, although the transformation sequence is rather showy and takes a few minutes. All of these forms keep her powers, though speed varies by the form with Ralts being slowest and Gardvevoir being fastest. This is also extended into people that transform her, whatever she is transformed into will be added into the amount of things she can transform into.
Due to her worldstriding experiences, Mimzee has picked up on magic. While she herself does not know any spells of her own, when encountering magic users she can copy any spell they may have used after her seeing it be used only once. It will be less effective the first couple times she uses it, but more or less she remembers all of the ones she has seen.
Worldstriding powers also include vast upgrades of her normal psychic powers, including immense speed boosts, upgraded telekinesis beyond her standard, and of course the ability to traverse universes.
She also possess various astral and soul altering abilities, although she cannot influence directly the shape another's soul will take, though is able to consume them. She chooses not to, however, preferring her prey mentally alive. These astral abilities include her meditation state, bringing her soul to the astral plane as her physical body remains where and how it was, gathering up psychic energy quickly. Another one is mind transference, when two parties agree to do it she can send her mind into another's, walking among their memories and experiences much like one would walk inside a building. This is a door, however, and should she do this she leaves the door to her own mind open, allowing the other person access to her own mind.
The exact powers she can use are limited by the universe she is in. Some universes grant her more powers than other, but her home world of origin is one that allows her to use a majority of her true strength. Here is the basis she set for herself, all of the above powers being usable. Other universes are generally more limited, though telepathy and telekinesis seem to remain constant. Her home world of Penny's origin is a world she's more suited to, these powers forming her "base" level in her mind where she can do all of the things stated above. Get in her a Fallout-type universe, however, where everything's dead, and she's almost powerless, barely being able to telepathize through strenuous thought.
In the event she somehow dies or is otherwise unable to continue living as she normally does, her soul is anchored to the Quarter and upon physical death will detach from her body (or what remains of it, even if there isn't any body left) and traverse across the multiverse, the sheer force of her unbound soul enough to protect her from the void. Upon reaching the Quarter her body reforms together, soul melding in once finished. Though, she loses the memory of ever going to the universe she died in, and even her death itself. Like waking up, the vague feeling that something just happened, but not caring enough to find out exactly what. This process is unaffected by even the most powerful of soul altering abilities, the owner of her soul technically being Artemis herself. As such, Mimzee will continue to live so long as Arty wants her to.
In The Quarter, her power is virtually unlimited. This world was made specifically by her with help from Artemis, and as such she shaped it the way she desired most: Unfathomable strength. A blink of an eye could rip someone to shreds should she so choose to do so. This in combination with her omniscience of whoever is on the planet makes it an extremely dangerous place to be. Whatever you do, don't approach any of her children without her permission. The Void would be pleasant compared to what would happen in that circumstance.
Even with all of this power behind her, Mimzee is in the train of thought that the best defense is a great offense. As such, her durability isn't much to speak of. In any form, a simple hard punch to the face is enough to knock her out.
While all of this offensive strength may do whatever she needs at the present moment, her fighting skill is non existent, relying on brute strength rather than skill. Dodging will also be a rare occurrence, believing she can take a hit when in reality she really can't.
She has has an extreme fear of ghosts, to the point where this phobia trumps even her egotistical arrogance, downright refusing to even approach anything vaguely similar.
This same arrogance might even be her biggest weakness, aside from the aforementioned ghosts Mimzee is physically unable to deny a challenge presented to her, even letting a potential foe gather strength just to make the fight more interesting.
Mimzee can die, very easily in fact, although she has a habit not to stay dead. Her soul is anchored to the Quarter, and upon death it detaches from her body, floating back across the Void towards there. This action is beyond her control, and has even resisted higher level attempts at soul manipulation. Whatever force is driving her to do this clearly wants her to keep living, as upon reaching the Quarter she reforms her body in Kirlia form, waking up as if from sleep. She will have no recollection of how she died, dying itself, nor the entire universe in which her death was enacted. From here living takes place as normal, Mimzee none the wiser to her temporary status as deceased.
Kamille
After Mimzee accidentally kidnapped her, the angel of death eventually came to the point where there was a Ralts cuddling with her in that Kirlia womb. The trio came eventually to the point that although she wouldn't be given the thing that set Mimzee's branch of Worldstriders apart from the others, she would still be treated like family, agreeing on becoming her step-daughter.
Niben
Niben is who Mimzee calls a boyfriend, although having two dominants in a relationship can get a bit... volatile. After finding many a desolate world, one after another, eventually she caught the godlike entity just after one of these planetary annihilated acts. And to her relative surprise, she wasn't killed on the spot. Rather, she used words to score him, finding herself changed, having something, someone, to actually care about for the first time.
Djinni has taken up residence in the Quarter now, after Mimzee found him through some long distance communication. He now wonders the halls of the house, trying out new things while the lamp he used to reside in rests at the core of the sun.
Mimzee now has her own realm to look after, along with Nickel and Dime there. Only 3 access points are available, one of which is straight to Arty's domain. The actual access points are weakly guarded temples, ancient stone and moss structures that house a Waystone. Any being of sufficient magic is welcome to try and enter, Mimzee purposefully lowering the barrier of entry. But beware, this is her realm. Here, she's on par with and even surpasses Arceus himself, and in all aspects is the Arceus. She calls it The Quarter, happily living her life with her daughters in the archipelagos of the planet she made, along with the occasional visit from Artemis.
The temples in other worlds all lead to the same one in The Quarter, directly in front of it being a palace Mimzee shaped herself to stand as a monument to her own ego. It does serve as her "official" place of residence, although she lives more in a slightly-run-down house with Nickel and Dime.
Now has a daughter of Nizee after a certain sorceress named Nicci clashed against her.
Mimzee is now dating Niben! They get along a lot better than you might initially think.
tl;dr version: Mimzee is just about the most narcissistic and arrogant person you'll ever meet, with almost god like powers. The downside to this is that she's easy to trick, her pride making her unable to back down from any sort of challenge. She's also physically very frail, one good surprise punch and she's out cold. Can traverse between different universes, and has her own universe entirely to herself and her daughters named The Quarter.
Please don't approach me in character, I've had enough of that.
Any other preferences just ask me.
When in blue text, Mimzee is in Gardevoir form. Adjust responses accordingly.
