Nagamao was born by a strong warrior who persuaded a female chief to lay with him. Nine months later after said warrior was eaten for his actions, was born the strongest in her tribe. Gorgeous at birth, she has been cursed with the attraction and appeal of many of those around her. However, little did she know that this curse was also a blessing in disguise. You see those abs? Yeah, they're not for show. Every year this warrior princess seems to outclass everybody when it comes to mere strength. Upper body that is. Her lower body is much to be desired since well... Her dad was a human after all. Humans can't have strong lower bodies. Or at least none can compare to the strength that is of a mighty Lamia. If you happen to catch around her tail area, it's coincidentally her one weak spot. But don't let this smaller than average muscle fool you, as she can certainly hold her own and easily swallow her prey whole and alive. She can indeed to chin ups. Which is something almost no lamia can do.
Nagamao has had plenty of time to practice her sparring capabilities. She is a rattler after all. So... She does have some tricks up her *ahem* sleeves. Like a nice bit of poisonous teeth if she so feels that her prey is going to try and kill her from the inside. A nice total numbing poison. So much so that the average 6 foot tall male human would probably be out for a good eight hours before they could move effectively again. Some freaks have asked her to bite them as they travel down her throat. Of course she wouldn't say no to a free meal. It was when she felt them being sickos inside her body that made her distaste it whenever males or even some females who so desperately wanted to be one with her. Ever since, she's been cautious about who or what goes in her body. But it certainly is a good way how to handle whenever others try to overtake her in her own tribe. Or in case of invaders. Or even trials by combat. But we won't talk about the politics of chiefs and trials and such. That stuff is no fun. Especially when you're considered a warrior like she is.
One thing Nagamao has indeed done that has seemed to make her an effective weapon, is figured out how to combine her weakness with her strength. So... If she ever need be, she actually will use the very strong upper half of her body to whip her tail and sort of lasso or simply attack her enemies this way! Or sometimes if she's feeling lazy, as most young adults do, she'll just whip her tail around a friend, and then pull them in like her tail is some sort of rope. Silly yes, but effective nonetheless.
