A large fleet of ships with an even larger army to boot they may look threatening but many times they will end up failing with their reactors and end up tiny to most tiny eating predators of the nexus.
As for when it's not having a core melt down effect the ships are heavily armored but a single being can get on undetected but the halls are crawling with soldiers.... be careful.
